Hinged Tonneau Covers
offer a bit more than the standard soft roll up
tonneau covers. Hinged tonneau covers are available
as a Hard Tonneau, like the Undercover, or as a
soft tonneau. Because of the popularity of the hinged
tonneaus many manufacturers are offering this style.
Some of the things to look for are the addition
of struts. Gas struts are used to off set the weight
of the tonneau when it is lifted. For the hinged
soft tonneaus, check to see if the tonneau cover
uses snaps or not. Tonneaus without snaps are nice,
unless it is a Downey LTD, which offers a new revolutionary
type of snap, and snaps do provide some extra security.

a rugged tubular sub frame. It also comes with

Like most soft tonneaus, they need to be snapped
for security. But these are not ordinary snaps,
